| Hypertech 160 Degree Thermostat | ||
| Description: | The engine thermostat. Determines when coolant should start to flow through the engine and cool it down. | |
| Price: | Thunder Racing | $8.50 |
| Install: | Make sure you get all the old gasket off first. Then just use some RTV. | |
| Pro's: | The engine always has that cool power to it. The lower the ECT (Engine Coolant Temp) is, the more timing advance you will have. The PCM will pull timing as ECT and IAT increase. | |
| Con's: | Who really knows. Everybody and their mother has an opinion about the 160 thermostats. Some people say that because the engine won't get up to the higher temps, contaminents in the oil won't get burned away (like gas). As long as you change your oil regularly you shouldn't have a problem. |

| Verdict: | I like it. I am happy with it. | $8.50 |
| Cooling Fan Switch | ||
| Description: | A switch that allows me to manually turn on the cooling fans. | |

| Install: | I ran a 14 gauge + wire through the driver side firewall. | |
| Pro's: | I can keep the car cool in the staging lanes. Also helps keep the car cool when street racing! | |
| Con's: | If you forget to turn off your switch, you can kill the battery. | |
| Verdict: | Definately a good mod. My car makes so much more power when its cool. | $2.50 |
